앨범 Crossroads(1988)는 Eric Clapton이 The Yardbirds 시절부터

80년대까지 약 20년간(1963-1987)의 활동을 총정리 해놓은 4장 짜리 박스셋 앨범으로

73곡이라는 약간은 부담되는 사이즈의 콜렉션이지만,

막대한 양의 미발표곡들이 수록되어있다.

그의 대중적 인지도를 우선적으로 고려한 여러 가지 포맷의 컬렉션들이 있지만,

이 박스셋이 다른 것들에 비해 월등히 뛰어난 것은,

블루스, 록 기타리스트로서 그의 행적들을 마치 자서전처럼
